Elizabeth Galbraith is the daughter of Lachlan Galbraith (1887-1964) and Letitia Durnin McWhirter (1889-1963). Her siblings were Sarah Galbraith (1929-?), Lachlan Galbraith, James Galbraith, John Galbraith.
